AWARD-WINNING LIVERPOOL SEO AGENCY QUIRKY DIGITAL OFFERS STUDENTS INTERNSHIPS TO HELP THE NEXT GENERATION WITH EMPLOYMENT

Managing Director Liam Quirk is passionate about helping university students to ensure they’re in the best possible position for employment in the growing digital marketing and AI industry

Award-winning Liverpool SEO agency, Quirky Digital, has announced its plans to offer internships to city students to support them on their journeys and ensure they’re in the best possible position for employment.

Having already worked closely with University of Liverpool, Managing Director Liam Quirk and his senior management team have been delivering impactful and practical SEO workshops and training, giving students an insight into digital marketing in the real world.

In March 2025, Liam set the students a challenge to audit one of Quirky Digital’s internal eCommerce websites and vowed that the winning team would win a three month internship at the agency where they could gain practical SEO experience working alongside the agency’s talented 18-person team.

The lucky winners were also able to work on an internal project, giving the students insight into a case study that they’d be able to use on their CV.

Students Pragya Kapoor and Aashi Goyal created an audit and strategy that Liam Quirk said would ‘rival what some agencies are delivering’.

Following the success of the internships, Quirky Digital will now open up internship opportunities at the agency on an annual basis.

He explained:

“Since the end of 2024, I’ve been really proud to work with University of Liverpool on delivering SEO workshops to students, providing knowledge, advice and support on the digital marketing and AI sectors. Working with the next generation of SEO experts is incredibly rewarding and it’s been fantastic to make a difference in the students’ journeys.

“For Q2, I wanted to take our involvement up a notch and come up with an internship programme at Quirky Digital where students could gain first-hand, industry experience that would both sit prominently on their CV, but also make an impact to their career, broaden their knowledge and offer a chance to work on genuine projects within the agency rather than tasks that are often fictitious for students. Pragya and Aashi made such an impact with their audit and strategy that we’re so honoured to have them part of the Quirky Digital team for an initial three month internship. We’ll then be rolling this out, working with the Universities to offer more opportunities for students.”
