BT Local Business discusses the end of the offer...

Companies that have been taking up the voucher offer from the UK Government have been benefitting from an additional £2500 towards install costs, or where there are no install costs businesses have been spreading the voucher over the lease line contract. The government put aside £67 million for this scheme and as of Jan 16th 2020 had already committed £58 Million. As a result the voucher scheme will finish shortly, likely next week.

Andy MacGregor Managing Director of BT Local Business serving the Liverpool area said “Any businesses looking at taking advantage of this voucher should act now and place orders as soon as possible, ideally no later than Tuesday. This should allow enough time for the electronic voucher to be emailed to the business to fill in online and claim before Friday 14th February 2020”.

BT Openreach will continue to provide support towards installs for £2800, the £2500 voucher was a separate additional incentive which registered telecoms suppliers could promote to customers that wanted to make the step to a more robust, faster internet connection.

For any customers wishing to consider BT as their supplier and take up the voucher in the next few days, BT Local Business has set up a special phone line on 01704 898210 to discuss the offer and take any orders.
