The export documentation team at Liverpool Chamber are very much open for business, despite the current restrictions due to the Coronavirus.

To facilitate documentation, the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) and HMRC are continually negotiating with customs authorities to increase the number of areas where electronic signatures are acceptable – see below for recent changes.

DOCUMENT DROP OFF AND COLLECTIONS FROM LIVERPOOL CHAMBER

  • The office is currently closed for drop off service and collections by any company except for couriers, such as DHL, TNT, Fedex.
  • Once we have advised you that the document is ready for collection, you can arrange a collection by your preferred courier, email the address label to us at certificates@liverpoolchamber.org.uk and we will print out and have the document ready for the courier to collect.
  • Alternatively, we can post your document back to you by Royal Mail. We recommend that you opt for Special Delivery (additional cost £6.45) to return the document to you. This way you can track the progress of delivery of your documents.
  • 1st Class and Recorded Delivery are also available.

EUROPEAN CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN

  • For a speedier service, we strongly recommend that you apply online via www.e-zcert.com for documents.

ATRs

  • We are now able to process ATRs with electronic signatures, submitted online via www.e-zert.com. Please note this is for the Express Service only. The Standard ATR service will not be available until Monday, 1st June.
  •  It is important to note that you will need to add the Exporter’s email address in Box 1.
  • If necessary, please reduce the detail in the postal address, to allow space to add the email address. If you are working from home and require blank ATRs, please email certificates@liverpoolchamber.org.uk and they will be sent out to you.
