Merseyside’s Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP) is asking people to keep their eyes open to the signs of criminal gangs and their grooming activities towards young people.

At the moment, professionals who may be more aware of the signs of child criminal exploitation (CCE) are having less contact with children and young people, therefore it falls to others to be vigilant to the signs of grooming and report potential issues when they see them. The first step, of course, is to learn what the signs are.

To that end, the VRP has produced the Eyes Open Campaign Pack and campaign website. These resources share details on the signs of grooming for CCE and what to do if you have concerns.

Visit the LCVS website to find out why this campaign is so important and to access Eyes Open Campaign resources.
