LCR+ ‘Recruitment Support for SMEs from The University of Liverpool’

The Employer Connections Team at the University of Liverpool are excited to launch a refreshed package of support designed specifically for SMEs in the Liverpool City Region in 2025.

We understand the challenges SMEs face in regards to attracting, recruiting and retaining talent and we believe our LCR+ package will provide local employers with a variety of solutions to support you navigate such challenges.

The LCR+ package comprises of 3 main elements of support:

Liverpool Interns:

A fully-funded 80 hour internship to support SMEs with real-world business challenges that fosters project-based knowledge exchange between higher education, future talent and businesses in the region.

This is the ideal way to create a talent pipeline into your organisation and see the impact student / graduate talent can have on your business operations.

LCR+:

Supporting SMEs who have full time graduate vacancies with the attraction & marketing of your role, the recruitment & shortlisting process and the training & development of your graduate hire.

The Professional Grad Programme:

A brand new training & development programme aimed at supporting your University of Liverpool hire develop the professional behaviours to flourish in their new role and hit the ground running.
