Liverpool-based public service redesign agency, Capacity, is looking to recruit a new Chair to help shape and further grow the organisation.
Since forming in 2016, Capacity has grown substantially, securing over £40 million in commissioned contracts and £1.5 million in grant funding for charities and social enterprises across England and Wales. Capacity has also grown its team to include a strong mix of individuals who specialise in various areas from business planning and finance to marketing and communications.
Capacity is now in a period of accelerated growth as they go from new venture/start-up to an established, sustainable organisation. To help them achieve this, they are looking for a new Chair who has a passion not only for improving public services but organisational development, and who will work closely with Capacity CEO, Chris Catterall supporting the organisation through the next stage of its development.
Applications are now open. Apply here
Deadline 28th February 2022
Chris Catterall, CEO of Capacity said:
“We think this is a great opportunity for someone to come in and help us to define how Capacity could look and grow moving forward. Of course, we are keen to work with someone who is commercially savvy, but we are really looking for someone who is as equally passionate about helping to make public services people services as we are. I’m looking forward to working closely with whoever we appoint, and we are eager to speak to people from a range of backgrounds and a variety of experiences.”
Jim Perrie, former Chair added:
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Capacity. The impact they have made and the positive change they have facilitated since they formed is something to be very proud of, as well as their response and support to public services amidst the pandemic. I see this as a welcomed opportunity for any individual who wants to help shape a growing organization. I wish the Capacity team the best of luck – I’m confident they will continue to achieve great things.”
