MAST is a charity based in Merseyside and offers 7-night sail training experiences for young people from disadvantaged communities and/or those experiencing difficulties with issues surrounding mental health and well-being.

This amazing opportunity gives participants:

• knowledge and experience of sail training skills
• ability to work as part of a team
• an increase in communication skills and self-confidence
• the ability to develop and increase personal resilience.

The voyage itself will give clear insight into the different roles available in the maritime industries both on land and at sea. It will certainly be a powerful addition to a CV for any applications to University, Apprenticeships and/or Employment.

At a time when families are dealing with the food and energy crisis and schools are struggling to offer enrichment activities, you may be able to make a real difference. As a business with Corporate Social Responsibility in mind, you may wish to do this by contributing towards the sail for a young person. You may even want to nominate Merseyside Adventure Sailing Trust as your charity for a short period of time.

If you are interested in supporting this life changing experience for young people aged 15-25, then please contact sheelaghmast@gmail.com so that we can make arrangements to speak or meet with you in person.
