Kays Logistics officially launch the opening of 3rd Party Logistics operations with a new warehouse and fulfilment centre in Liverpool


Kays Logistics have officially opened their new state-of-the-art warehouse and fulfilment centre.

The new development will allow Kays to expand its capacity and meet the increasingly sophisticated logistics demands of its customers.

Working across a range of industries Kays Logistics has experienced significant growth over recent years serving an array of sectors such as automotive, retail, aerospace, and e-commerce. Reflecting the growing demands of customers, the expansion will enable Kays Logistics to offer 3PL services including full pick-pack functions, reworking and kitting services along with storage and distribution.

Kays CEO Ben Ludzker said:

“It was a proud day for me and all of the Kays team. It’s a tangible example of the company’s growth ambitions and our continued diversification. We see great potential in this new logistics division and are already looking to add new sites across the country.”

Kays Logistics invited businesses from around the UK for a tour of their impressive new site, which was praised by many. With over 50 attendees from industries ranging from maritime and technology to professional services and construction.

Director of Liverpool City Region Freeports, John Lucy commented:

“It is great to see the launch of Kays Logistics, a fulfilment centre set to bring new jobs and business to the area. This development is within close proximity to Liverpool John Lennon Airport and the Port of Liverpool, both of which are within the Freeport area.

“The Liverpool City Region Freeport will create a low-carbon, multi-modal, multi-gateway trade platform with a network of sites attracting high-value investment like the Kays Logistics development. Sites like this support growth and employment opportunities to the LCR region to help regenerate communities through advanced industry, innovation, and collaboration.”
