Final Call for Funding

The clock is ticking for you to apply for funding through the European Social Fund (ESF).

LJMU Graduate Futures is a £2.4m ESF project looking to support businesses in the Liverpool City Region wanting to grow their workforce with student and graduate talent. We will pay 100% of the salary of a short-term student intern or 50% of the salary of a longer-term summer placement for a student or graduate.

Do you have an immediate opportunity in your business that could benefit from a fresh injection of ideas from a student or graduate? Students completing their degrees NOW are ready to connect and contribute business. Building on skills developed throughout their degrees, including problem solving, creativity, digital skills and research, they are looking for opportunities to learn from businesses just like yours as they put their studies into practice.

Student interests are many and varied, and previous successful roles they have supported have ranged from injecting sustainability working practices and positive action around equality, diversity and inclusion. Academic preparation has also developed a skill set where research, event management, content creation and data analysis can be applied to the workplace.

Our funding supports

Short-term project briefs where we pay 100% of the salary for 200 hours of student work in your business. Need help creating a brief? We can help.
