Liverpool John Moores University’s Discovery Internship Programme is now open to apply For Cohort 2a!

LJMU’s Discovery Internships programme has launched its next cohort of internships which will be fully funded 105 hour work experience with employers who can offer a supportive and structured environment that allows students to grow in confidence and enhance their skills.

1 of the 105 hours includes the student attending a 30 minute appointment with an LJMU Careers and Employability Advisor at the beginning and end of the internship.

The internship programme provides an opportunity that allows LJMU undergraduates, levels 5 and 6 students, to gain valuable work experience that enables the student to discover their unique skills and talents, whilst employers discover the value of engaging an intern in their company.

For cohort 2a, the LJMU Employer Engagement Team and Unitemps is seeking hosts to support skill enhancement and development.

LJMU pays the full cost of wages and also provides full support with advertising the opportunity, candidate selection, processing timesheets and payments to students via our Unitemps branch.

The project form is now open for an anticipated start date in February 2024. If you want to get involved, please ensure you complete all company appraisal questions at the beginning of the project form and meet the eligibility criteria below.  Please be aware that spaces are capped at 40 for this cohort so early application is recommended to avoid disappointment. Only one project per organisation will be considered.

The project form can be found by here. Please complete and submit the project form by midday on Monday 13th November 2023.
