SEP Insurance, a leading nationwide broker with local values, has reported a record year for business growth since the inception of the company in 2018.
The firm’s written premium has grown by 40 % in 12 months, surpassing £11 million. They have also experienced their most successful month to date with £2.1 million of written premium, solidifying its position as a competitive player in the UK’s commercial, fleet and wheels insurance sector.
Part of this cumulative success can be attributed to a raft of recent long-term renewals. In October, SEP Insurance secured their highest value long term renewal to date, with a major hire and reward firm based in Liverpool. The renewal, secured for a further 2 years, is valued in excess of £1million and involves quarterly claim reviews and fleet performance monitoring.
SEP Insurance currently employs 25 staff across three locations, in the Merseyside and surrounding regions and provides commercial and wheels-based insurance throughout the UK. The company blends in depth insurance knowledge with entrepreneurial vision and is now rivalling leading competitors, achieving competitive insurance premiums to customers. SEP Insurance attribute their accelerated growth over the last 5 years to a strong track record of both technical expertise and knowledge and business acumen and have ambitious plans to continue on this upward trajectory over the short and longer term.
Commenting on the company’s recent growth, Managing Director Phil Stafford said,
“In what continues to be a challenging landscape, I am delighted to see our team’s collective hard work really paying off. Our strategic acumen and commitment to our customers has enabled our continued success and solidified our position in the industry.” Phil added, “Our team consistently strives to identify the most competitive deals for our customers, with a commitment to always going that extra mile when it comes to service delivery. I am highly optimistic about our continued growth into 2024 and beyond.”
Phil is equally proud of the company’s philanthropic efforts. SEP has committed over £18,000 in sponsorships and donations to various Liverpool based sports clubs, charities and voluntary groups over the past 12 months.
These generous contributions have been split across various charities, sports and youth groups across Liverpool and the wider Merseyside region including, but not limited to, The Owen McVeigh Foundation, Bootle FC, Attitude Dance and Bootle Bucks Inclusion. The Bootle-headquartered firm’s donations have not only bolstered the various group’s financial capacities, but also nurtured and uplifted various sports teams by providing team kits and provided assistance to cover fees for those in need.
