Director Jonathan Smith retired from the Alan Johnston Partnership at the end of April, 35 years after first joining the practice. Directors Kenny O’Brien, Danny Sinclair and Peter Bryan will continue to lead the practice which is strengthened by the promotion of three team members to Associate.

Jonathan first joined the practice in 1989 and has worked tirelessly to advance the business and has been a key member of the team since the early years of the business.

Director Kenny O’Brien commented:

“Jonathan made a key contribution to the growth and success of AJP with his vision, leadership and expertise and built many strong relationships with clients. We wish him all the best for his retirement as he looks forward to having a well-earned break and spending more time on his many hobbies.”

Jonathan leaves the practice in a fantastic position with a solid management and technical team in place. AJPs talented and experienced team now also includes the promotion of John Marshall, John Speers and Michael Carr to Associate.

Director Kenny O’Brien continues:

“Our recent promotions are a key part of our longer-term development plan and growth strategy for the practice. Over the past 40 years, AJP have earned a reputation as a key player in the sector and we are excited about the next chapter. Alongside our newly appointed Associates, myself, Danny & Peter are committed to driving the business forward, continuing to deliver a diverse range of projects and sustainable engineering solutions for our clients and continuing to help shape the built environment.”
