Liverpool Watersports Centre is gearing up for an action-packed season full of exciting activities, events, and experiences on the iconic Liverpool waterfront.
This summer, the centre offers a variety of fun-filled adventures for families, friends, and thrill-seekers of all ages. From the exhilarating Aqua Park to the iconic Lord Mayor’s Dragon Boat Race, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Located at Queens Dock, Liverpool Watersports Centre is a not-for-profit organization and part of the charity Local Solutions. Their mission is to make watersports accessible to everyone by offering a range of affordable activities for both individuals and groups
Liverpool Watersports Centre offers a wide range of activities, including paddleboarding, open-water swimming, kayaking and canoes, an impressive Aqua Park and more.
The Aqua Park boasts a sprawling inflatable playground on the water. Complete with a catapult swing, water trampolines, slides, monkey bars, a spinning rocket and big slides plus a see-saw and various climbing apparatus. It’s the perfect spot for families and friends to splash, bounce, and play together. The Aqua Park is now open and runs through until September, ensuring a summer full of thrilling experiences.
Another key event this summer is the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Boat Race, taking place on Sunday 12th May. This exciting event brings together teams from across Liverpool to compete in a series of high-energy dragon boat races, all in support of the Lord Mayor’s Charity of the Year, Local Solutions.
