Why the Isle of Man Wealth & Fund Services Association is collaborating more with Liverpool?

In the middle of the Irish Sea is the Isle of Man which is a 227 square miles Island and a self-governing British Crown dependency. We are known for our rugged coastline, medieval castles and rural landscape, rising to a mountainous center. In the capital, Douglas, the Manx Museum traces the island’s Celtic and Viking heritage. The Isle of Man TT is a major annual cross-country motorcycle race around the island.

We also have a thriving finance industry in which we are looking to build our connections, and the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce has been a fantastic way to do this.

The Isle of Man is an attractive place to establish a Fund or Private Wealth Management vehicle, priding itself on being responsive to international needs while maintaining a business-centric approach.

The Island is now an important player in the offshore funds sector, particularly focusing on real estate funds, private equity funds and an increased focus on Digitalisation and Tokenisation. The island is also a favourite location for the AIM listing for Closed-Ended Funds, particularly property focused schemes.

The Isle of Man Wealth & Fund Services Association is a dynamic, high profile business network of members representing all key sectors of the economy. For more than 60 years the Isle of Man Wealth & Fund Services Association has been the Island's leading advocate and champion for business with a focus on creating a climate of growth and success in our community.
