As momentum builds behind the UK’s clean energy transition, E-FWD is convening industry leaders, policy-makers, and local stakeholders for a dynamic breakfast briefing event in Liverpool.
The Momentum Morning event will take place tomorrow, 26th June at the Museum of Liverpool. The event will focus on how the region can capitalise on new energy investment to drive long-term regional and economic growth.
The morning will open with a fireside chat featuring Guy Newey, CEO of Energy Systems Catapult, offering strategic insights into the trends shaping the GB energy sector in the lead-up to 2030 and beyond.
A panel discussion, chaired by Ed Reed, E-FWD Editor, will bring together an engaging group of operators and experts, including:
- Joe Seifert, CEO of EET Hydrogen
- Neil McCulloch, CEO, Spirit Energy
- Stacey Collins, Partner, Pinsent Masons
- Mark Steeves, Chairman of the Board, EnergyPathways
- David Parkin, Project Director for HyNet, Progressive Energy
The conversation will spotlight first-of-a-kind deployment challenges, investment strategies, and policy alignment across hydrogen and CCS in the North West.
To close the programme, an interactive Q&A session will spark discussion from the floor as we ask the audience:
A wave of new energy investment is coming for the north-west. Can the region use this to deliver long term success, or will it be here today and gone tomorrow?
