The survey – which is also open to visitors – is a key part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to becoming a more inclusive organisation by listening and understanding the experiences of local communities, and working together to tackle inequalities.

A draft strategy is being developed in partnership with organisations across Liverpool, including Merseyside Police, fire service, health and education sectors.

Together, the aim is to build a shared approach that supports public, private and voluntary sectors to address structural inequality and ensure that everyone in Liverpool feels respected, valued and heard.

Responses to the survey will be reviewed by the Council and its partners and used to inform the development of an Anti-Racism Strategy, which will be presented to Cabinet in the autumn. A summary of the findings will be published alongside the strategy.

All responses will be anonymised and securely stored for no longer than 12 months.
