The UK’s Annual Investment Mission heads to Barbados to further strengthen and expand economic development.
Invest Barbados in association with its UK partners is pleased to announce the sixth UK Inward Investment Mission to Barbados, scheduled to take place from November 10-14, 2025. The delegation, comprising businesspersons and potential investors from England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, also includes returning entrepreneurs, all seeking to explore and deepen bilateral investment and innovation partnerships with Barbados.
The Mission offers UK businesspersons a valuable opportunity to assess firsthand the feasibility of establishing or expanding operations in Barbados, while using the jurisdiction as a strategic Caribbean hub for accessing regional and global markets.
This annual event underscores a shared commitment to enhancing cooperation in key sectors such as agri-processing, BPO, construction, financial services, ICT manufacturing, renewable energy, tourism, among other areas.
Ms. Kaye-Anne Greenidge, CEO of Invest Barbados, stated:
“This inward mission from the UK represents a meaningful opportunity to build cross-border collaborations that benefit both our economies. Barbados offers a resilient business environment, strong legal framework and a growing reputation as a hub for innovation, and we look forward to sharing these advantages with the delegates.”
Several companies from previous missions have incorporated entities in Barbados, while a few potential investors are currently at different stages in the incorporation process. Some investors have also initiated projects across various sectors.
Over the five days, the delegates will have the opportunity to engage in business-to-business meetings, sector-specific roundtables, site visits and networking events. These activities will connect them with Barbadian businesses, policymakers and potential collaborators, fostering long-term strategic relationships and investment.
