COMPLETE construction partner Stepnell has bolstered its regional capabilities with the appointments of Tania Knowles as business development manager for the North West and David Hughes as pre-construction manager for the East Midlands.
Tania Knowles brings 38 years of experience over a variety of disciplines including business development across construction, with a proven track record in building strong client relationships and delivering strategic growth both within construction and consultancy. Her career has also included a period in school management and education consultancy where she has built a specialism for growth in the education sector.
Well-connected across the North West including Liverpool and Manchester, Tania also has extensive expertise in business opportunities across health, office, commercial, and decarbonisation projects. She has managed large-scale event strategies and is chair of the Save Construction Initiative in North Wales, where she plays a role in engaging with industry professionals on addressing the construction skills gap.

Stepnell has also appointed David Hughes as pre-construction manager for the East Midlands, bringing more than 27 years in construction that includes a number of senior pre-construction roles, with the most recent being at Kier. David has overseen projects on a number of public sector frameworks, with value ranges from £500k to £50m and covering all sectors including health, education, defence, custodial and decarbonisation.
In his new role, David will focus on further strengthening Stepnell’s pre-construction offering for its clients, developing new relationships and ensuring a collaborative approach to project delivery.
