Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK has announced three new director promotions in Manchester, demonstrating the firm’s ongoing commitment to grow and develop its people from within its own ranks.
Catherine Bedford and Emily Sawicz have both been promoted to audit director, while Richard Travis-Nash has been promoted to tax director in the firm’s ESG team.
RSM’s newly appointed North West directors are among 31 promotions to director across the national firm, with over half of this year’s cohort starting their careers with RSM as trainees. This includes Emily, who joined RSM’s Manchester office as a graduate in 2013, and Catherine, who joined as a trainee in 2016.
The promotions span all areas of the firm, with audit promoting 12 directors, seven in tax and 12 in consulting. The newly promoted directors are located throughout the UK across 15 offices, from Edinburgh to Southampton.
In addition, almost 700 promotions have been awarded across the firm into roles to help drive growth and investment in existing talent, as RSM aims to become a first-choice employer of skilled professionals, and a leading adviser to middle market firms globally.
