Emmaus Merseyside

Emmaus Merseyside is a newly formed homelessness charity in Merseyside establishing in the Seaforth area. Part of the established Emmaus UK movement, Emmaus Merseyside is developing a Super Store social enterprise on Sandy Road in Seaforth and building a brand new £2.5million 28 bed residential unit for homeless and vulnerable people in School Lane, Seaforth. Emmaus communities deliver a significant return on investment. Research shows that for every £1 invested in a community there is an £11 social, environmental and economic return with savings to the benefits bill, health services and a reduction in crime.
