What this event will cover:

The event will include a summary of the Chancellor’s March 2022 Spring Statement, its implications on you and your business with expert analysis from MHA Moore and Smalley.

Cath Griffiths from Barclays will discuss the current issues and challenges faced by businesses, including the impact of supply chain disruption on the working capital cycle and what support can be provided during these challenging times.

Finally, we will end with a Q&A session where attendees will have an opportunity to direct their questions to our panel.

Our keynote speakers

David Hackett, Tax Director, MHA Moore and Smalley

David provides specialist tax advice to a wide range of owner managed businesses, small and large, covering income, capital and business taxes. He is passionate about providing a personal, hands-on approach and delivering excellent client service.

Carolyn O’Shea, Indirect Tax Senior Manager

Carolyn advises on all aspects of VAT including VAT registrations, complex VAT returns, partial exemption calculations and HMRC investigations. She also specialises in VAT aspects of land and property transactions including transfer of going concerns and option to tax.

Cath Griffiths, Trade Director, Trade & Working Capital team, Barclays

Cath supports clients with mitigating risks of importing and exporting as well as providing trade finance solutions to assist cashflow and working capital requirements.
